# Naming Convention for Consolidating FASTQC and Bowtie2 Reports

I have FASTQC reports from many paid end files. I also have the alignments done with bowtie2. Of course there are only half as many bowtie2 reports as there are FASTQC report. How should I name the filenames so that everything gets properly consolidated and “stays together”, including in the “General Statistics” tab?
