# Open in github Codespace

I am not able to access code space at all!? after initiating connection to the code space it disconnect!

Any advice plaese?

Hi @mtaema1 , thanks for calling in to the office hours. As we discussed, it’s difficult to troubleshoot the connection issue since Codespaces is an external service.

My recommendation is to follow our alternate instructions for using the materials on your local machine instead of Codespaces. There are two options, either [Local Installation](https://training.nextflow.io/latest/envsetup/02_local/) (using the Windows Subsystem for Linux if you’re on a Windows machine, plus installing Nextflow etc on your computer) or [Local installation using VSCode Devcontainers extension](https://training.nextflow.io/latest/envsetup/03_devcontainer/) which replicates the Codespaces environment on your machine (requires installing VSCode locally first iirc).

Let us know if that doesn’t work.
