Conda failes creating environment with status 143

Conda fails creating environment in the pip dependencies phase. The resulting environment is expected to occupy around 3.2 GB of memory.

The error message reports status 143.

Outside nextflow, the same environment was installed successfully. Is there any way to watch the memory consumption as the environment is getting installed?

Thank you in advance for your help.

In nextflow.log I receive the following message:

Conda failed installing environment: n.processor.TaskPollingMonitor -- barrier arrived
