I failed to build a Docker ARM64 container for STAR (v2.7.9a) using Seqera Containers. I tried several different STAR versions, and only v2.7.11b built successfully. However, I specifically need version 2.7.9a. How can I get Seqera Containers to build a Docker image for STAR v2.7.9a?
This was resolved in Slack. The problem was that the version of STAR is old here, and was from before Bioconda started building ARM binaries. So the conda resolution failed.
