Hello,

A few suggestions/remarks about Seqera platform UI.

Run > Tasks > Processes

I find the progress bar and associated numbers quite confusing:

  • In xx of yy , xx corresponds to the number of succeeded processes and yy to the number of (succeeded + aborted) processes.
  • However, the progress bar also shows the failed processes, which is misleading (e.g. for the last bar, we see some failed processes and some succeeded, yet the number is 24 of 24).
  • The same process can appear both as failed (red) and succeeded (green) in the progress bar in the case of processes resubmitted upon failure.

Maybe my suggestion here would be to differentiate failed processes that are retried from other failed processes. In my opinion, processes that failed, were retried and succeeded should appear only once in the progress bar and not several times (red as failed, green as success) as currently, maybe with another shade of green or striped red/green (“succeeded after retry”?).

I would love to be able to sort by process and/or tag. This would make it so much easier to track a process that failed and has been resubmitted.
