To participate in Training Week:
1. Sign up to Nextflow Training Week
2. Go to the Nextflow training portal (Home - training.nextflow.io) and pick a training course.
For newcomers to Nextflow, we recommend starting with the Hello Nextflow course if you want to learn to develop your own pipelines, or Nextflow Run if you just want to run existing workflows.
Ready to take your Nextflow skills to the next level? We recommend starting with Hello nf-core to learn nf-core best practices, exploring Side Quests for deep dives into advanced topics, or following Training Collections for curated learning paths.
3. Follow the instructions on your chosen training course’s home page.
This will involve launching a GitHub Codespaces cloud-hosted training environment, eliminating the need for software installation—you only need a web browser and a GitHub account (which is free). You will also find complete written instructions walking you through the course.
4. If you run into any trouble or have any questions, post your question in the community forum (Training - Seqera Community).
We’ll have staff members as well as community members in multiple timezones standing by to answer your questions and help you keep moving through the course.
5. You can also book office hours on Zoom.
We’ll have staff members available to answer questions and discuss the materials over Zoom.
Book a 15 minute slot from 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM EST or 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM EST using the link provided in the email after sign-up.
6. Be sure to complete the quizzes at the end of the course.
This will not only help reinforce what you’ve learned but is also required to receive your certificate of completion. [Register for Nextflow Training Week now](Nextflow Training Week May 2026)
